Create your own lei poʻo (head lei) in a joyful hands-on workshop with Island-Boy and Pua Hana by Paiko at the serene Ossipoff Cabin in Pālehua! Learn the traditional lei wili technique—binding fresh ferns and florals with rafia to craft a lush, wearable garland. A wide variety of materials will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring blooms to share (no ʻōhiʻa lehua or invasive species, please).
Enjoy a guided mountain walk, three hours of creative instruction, refreshments, and time to explore Vladimir Ossipoff’s beautifully restored mid-century retreat. Proceeds benefit the Pālehua Conservation Initiative. Ages 14+, tickets required, space limited to 15 guests.
