Wayfinder Waikiki FAQs

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available based on availability.

Early check-in is $20 per hour before 3:00 PM, and late check-out is $20 per hour after 11:00 AM. Requests for late check-out after 5:00 PM will incur a full night’s charge.

Guests are welcome to store luggage with the front desk before check-in or after check-out. Just stop by the desk and our team will be happy to assist.

For most individual reservations (FIT), cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee.

Please note that certain rates or offers labeled non-refundable, such as advanced purchase rates, are not eligible for a refund.

Cancellation terms for group reservations may vary and are determined based on the group agreement.

Wayfinder Waikiki charges a $37 + tax per room, per night destination fee. This fee includes a variety of amenities and services designed to enhance your stay.

Yes. The resort amenity fee is mandatory and is charged to the guest unless otherwise specified.

Beginning January 1, 2026, the daily resort amenity fee is $37.00 plus 18.712% tax (Hawaii State General Excise Tax of 4.712%, Transient Accommodation Tax of 11%, and Oahu County TAT of 3.00%).

The resort amenity fee currently includes:

• Two bottles of water per stay
• Beach chairs for daily use
• Boogie boards for daily use
• GoPro cameras for daily use

A $200 incidental hold per room will be placed on a valid credit card at check-in. This hold covers potential charges during your stay, such as dining, minibar purchases, or other incidental expenses.

Wayfinder Waikiki is a non smoking property. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area located at the front of the hotel.

Wayfinder Waikiki is located approximately 8.6 miles from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL).

While Wayfinder Waikiki does not provide airport transportation, guests can easily arrange taxi, ride share, or shuttle services to and from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

At this time, Wayfinder Waikiki does not offer shuttle service.

Wayfinder Waikiki offers valet parking only, available for $49 per vehicle, per night.

If valet parking is full, guests may use overnight self parking at a neighboring hotel for $35 per 24 hour period. Please note that this option does not include in and out privileges.

Guests are encouraged to bring their vehicle to Wayfinder Waikiki the following morning so our team can provide a valet ticket for the remainder of the stay, subject to availability.

Wayfinder Waikiki offers an electric vehicle charging station on property. It is complimentary for hotel guests only.

Guest rooms at Wayfinder Waikiki include a variety of in room amenities designed for comfort and convenience, including:

Rooms at Wayfinder Waikiki are equipped with air conditioning for guest comfort. Heating is not available.

Yes. King-bedded rooms accommodate up to two guests, and Double Double rooms accommodate up to four guests.

Please note that guest rooms are approximately 242 sq ft, so while four guests are permitted in Double Double rooms, the space may feel tight for four adults. The room layout is typically more comfortable for two adults and two children.

Rollaway beds are not available. Pac n Play cribs are available for $10 per night, per crib, based on availability. Please contact the front desk to request one during your stay.

Wayfinder Waikiki offers ADA-accessible guest rooms designed to provide comfort and accessibility for guests with disabilities. Please contact the hotel directly or note your needs when booking so our team can assist with the best available accommodations.

Daily housekeeping is not automatically provided. However, guests may request housekeeping service through the front desk, and our team will be happy to assist based on availability.

Hotel staff may enter guest rooms for operational or safety reasons, such as requested housekeeping service. Staff may also conduct a wellness check if a Do Not Disturb sign remains on the room for an extended period of time to ensure guest safety.

Wayfinder Waikiki does not have a dedicated concierge team. However, many of our staff are local to the community and are happy to provide recommendations, advice, and information to help you make the most of your stay.

Wayfinder Waikiki does not offer laundry services on property. However, the front desk can recommend nearby laundry or dry cleaning options in the area.

Wayfinder Waikiki can accommodate group room blocks for group stays.

The property does not have dedicated event or wedding facilities. However, small gatherings may be possible in select areas such as the pool area or at Redfish, depending on availability. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

Ice machines are available for guest use on floors 4, 6, 8, and 12.

Wayfinder Waikiki is located in a very walkable area, with many beaches, shops, and attractions nearby.

Guests can also explore the area by renting a MOKE, using rideshare services like Uber, or taking local bus transportation to get around the island.

Wayfinder Waikiki offers MOKE rentals for $79 per hour, a fun and easy way to explore Waikiki and the surrounding area. Availability may vary, so guests are encouraged to check with the front desk for current rental availability.

Wayfinder Waikiki is located approximately a 4 to 5 minute walk from the beach, making it easy for guests to enjoy Waikiki’s shoreline and ocean activities.
